Boise Hawks

The winning of six Northwest League Championships, are the Single-An affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. Home games are played at the Fairgrounds, at Memorial Stadium from mid-June through early September.

Boise State University Broncos

Bronco’s men’s sport teams compete in basketball, cross country, football, golf, tennis, track and field, and wrestling.

Boise women’s teams compete in Division I basketball, cross country, golf, gymnastics, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, track and field, and volleyball.

Firebird Raceway

Hosting 45 NHRA drag racing events from April through October, Firebird Raceway is Idaho’s largest motor sports facility. Annual highlights include Pepsi Nightfire Nationals in August and the Halloween Classics in October. Firebird Raceway is located west of Boise on Hwy. 16, five miles north of Hwy. 44.

Idaho Stampede

Affiliated directly with NBA’s Portland Trailblazers and Denver Nuggets, the Idaho Stampede basketball team compete in the NBA Development League. The Idaho Stampede play at Qwest Arena from November through April.

Idaho Steelheads

Idaho’s professional hockey team is affiliated with the NHL’s Dallas Stars and two-time Kelly Cup Champions. Idaho Steelheads compete in the ECHL at Qwest Arena from October through April.
